The Abbey Ridge Observatory is remote-controlled from my home office (or from anywhere in the world over the internet) and it autonomously performs observations on its own. The primary use of the observatory is observing variable stars and general CCD imaging of interesting objects. The observatory is also a registered observing site of the International Astronomical Union's Minor Planet Centre (site I22).
